This picture is taken during our 1st year - 2nd Semester BSA at WUP (Wesleyan University-Philippines Cabanatuan Chapter). The girl with me is my bestfriend Lou also known as "Luzviminda". She don't like calling her the long way as it represents none other than the Philippines. Lol! We always complain when it comes to our names. Good thing we have these nick names which are far better than our real names hehe.

The picture above speaks itself. We are wearing this red shirts and jogging pants with a vertical  WUP logo every morning during our PE Class of course. If you notice, Lu and I were wearing a strappy 2 inches shoes that looks exactly the same. Actually, thats my favorite shoes. I heard you asking why. The answer is, thats my very first proper shoes I bought in my college days. Its very comfortable to use even in swing and boogie class.

PE Class is really one of my favorite subject. If you're gonna ask me between PE and Accounting Subject, I'd be more glad making pyramids and making dance steps than solving accounting problems. I mean hey, I'm not really a formula geek. Ask my friends about my grades and I always get Flat 1. (Uno) in all PE subjects. :p

Guess how young are we in this picture? Well, I'm 17 years old in this picture while Kristine, Cristina  and Allyn was only 16 years old. I'm few months older than them though. So, this picture was taken during our first Acquaintance Party attended as a BSC students at WUP-Cabanatuan Chapter. As you can see, "Nene pa ang mga itsura namin" in this shots. And take note of those hairstyle we had before. Duh! I look really manang in this picture with that checkered-collared top and black trouser. Hmmm.. Actually, I think I bought it in Cabanatuan Tiangge somewhere in Burgos Avenue. If, I'm not mistaken that's infront of the Shoes Store in the corner street. Lol! And the skin! My gosh! Kumikisap haha! Don't ask me why my face is so white because I might be using Mena or Ching-Chang su covered with lots and lots of Johnson's baby powder to cover the burned skin I had during those days. Yuck! Well, we don't really mean to attend this party but because its compulsory, we are too scared to get low grades or deductions to our exams. You know a typical blackmail when you're a freshmen. They will keep hold on you just to attend the party and pay the ticket (includes Zest-O and Pansit in a styro) lol! But honestly, we had fun in this party. Not only because this in one of the biggest event in our life as a freshmen but we get to know each other more ( talking about girls beside me) who were now my very closest friends!

The Jongre Girls!

I am blogging for about 5 months now and I can say I'm enjoying most of my time sitting infront of my notebook (which used to be my bestfriend at the moment) and blog about anything. Today, I've made a blog specially designed for my college friends. The picture above was taken about seven (7) years ago (more or less). All I can remember is, it was taken at the boarding house/apartment where I used to live in my college days. I can't remember if it was one of my birthday celebration or just a school holiday. Actually, we make our own school holidays just to hang out, drink a couple of vodka, get drunk and sing using our very old fashioned computer. (Guess who's our favorite boyband?) Nothing else but Westlife! It's really amazing that I have managed to bring this scanned picture with me before I left Philippines. I missed them so bad! Anyways, the Jongre from top to bottom (clockwise) are, Imelda (red) Kristine, Ria, Cristina, Janice, Jean Grace, Allyn, Luz, and Me (Edna Leen).

Now let's talk about the word "JONGRE". I myself don't know why we've come up to calling each other that way. But as far as I remember, Ria introduced us to this "salitang-kalye"she learned from her cousins. She said, Jongre means a lot. It could be Jongre as in Ugly, boastful, bitch or anything you want to describe negatively. It's kinda weird but I like the endearment! Its such a unique way of telling bad thing or word without anyone knowing at all lol!
